Koha’s open-source community thrives on collaboration, and user groups play a crucial role in its success. This presentation will explore the activities of koha-US and the koha-US North Texas User Groups, highlighting their impact on libraries through knowledge-sharing, advocacy, and innovation. Attendees will learn about the mission, key initiatives, and success stories from both groups, as well as opportunities to get involved. Whether you’re new to Koha or an experienced user, this session will provide valuable insights into how these communities support and enhance the Koha experience.
Speaker Biography
Ed is the Library Services Manager for the newly formed Anna Community Library and has been serving libraries in several capacities for over 30 years. He specializes in helping staff and patrons engage with emerging technologies to enhance their library experience.
Ed has been an active member of the Koha Community since 2009, contributing at various levels, including training, support, and leadership. He is passionate about the open source community solutions and fostering innovation in libraries.
